✦ New: Ad spend by country
See which Shopify market actually makes money
Juicy shows orders, net revenue, gross profit, and now ad spend for every country you sell to. Each Shopify Market gets its real profit after ads, so you know where to scale and where you're paying to lose money.

Net revenue by country

Example data. Finland brings in 11% of net revenue but takes 29% of the ad spend, and loses €277 after ads. Without ad spend per country, it looks like a healthy 39% margin market.
Why your total profit hides your weakest market
A store-wide profit number averages every market together. A strong home market can carry one that loses money on every order, and you won't see it until costs and ad spend are split by country.
Campaigns cross borders
One Meta or Google campaign often targets several countries. Its ROAS can look fine overall while one of those countries never pays back.
Costs differ per market
Shipping, product costs, payment fees, and returns vary between countries, so the same revenue leaves very different gross profit.
Revenue share isn't profit share
A market with 11% of your revenue can take 29% of your ad spend. You only notice when both sit in the same row.
Expansion needs proof
Before you add a Shopify Market or raise budgets in one, you need its profit after ads, not just its sales.
What you see for every country
One row per country, with a total for the store. Sort by any column to find your most and least profitable markets.
- Orders: orders shipped to the country. Orders without a shipping address count in their billing country.
- Net revenue: what the country's orders brought in after discounts and returns.
- Gross profit and gross margin: net revenue minus COGS, shipping, and transaction costs, in euros and as a share of net revenue.
- Ad spend: what Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Microsoft Ads report for that country, synced automatically.
- Profit after ad spend: gross profit minus the country's ad spend. This is the number that tells you if a market pays off.
- Charts: orders and net revenue by country, so you see each market's share at a glance.
How profit by country is calculated
Two steps, both per country and for any date range.
net revenue − COGS − shipping − transaction costsProfit after ad spend =
gross profit − ad spend in that country
Take Finland from the example above: €8,060 in net revenue and €3,135 in gross profit, a 38.9% margin that looks healthy. But €3,412 of ad spend went to Finland, so it ends at −€277 after ads. Sweden brings in €9.23 of net revenue for every €1 of ads; Finland brings in €2.36.
Profit after ad spend isn't your net profit. Store-wide costs that have no country, like recurring expenses, other income, and agency fees, aren't split per country. They're included in your net profit for the whole store.
Built for Shopify Markets
Shopify Markets groups the countries you sell to and lets you set prices, currencies, and domains per market. Juicy shows the result country by country, so you can judge every market, whether it's a single country or a region like the Nordics.
Ad spend synced per country
Juicy pulls the country breakdown from every connected ad platform and adds it up per country. No spreadsheets, no manual splits.
Country-specific COGS
Products that cost more to source or land in one market are calculated with the right cost. Set up COGS
Shipping costs by country
Shipping rules can match on country, so every market carries its own real shipping cost. Set up shipping rules

What to do with a market that loses money
A negative profit after ad spend isn't a reason to leave a market. It tells you which lever to pull.
- Move budget: shift ad spend toward markets with the highest profit after ad spend, and exclude weak countries from broad campaigns.
- Adjust market pricing: Shopify Markets lets you set prices per market. Raising prices or cutting discounts in a thin-margin market often fixes it faster than cutting ads.
- Check shipping: compare what customers pay for shipping with what it costs you in that country.
- Watch returns: a high return rate in one country eats net revenue before ads are even counted.

FAQ
How do I see profit by country in Shopify?
Shopify's own reports can show sales by country, but not ad spend per country or profit after ads. Juicy adds both: for every country you get orders, net revenue, gross profit after COGS, shipping, and transaction costs, the ad spend your ad platforms report for that country, and profit after ad spend.
Can I see profit per Shopify Market?
Yes. Shopify Markets are built from countries, and Juicy shows profit country by country. A market with one country maps to one row; for a market that covers a region, such as the Nordics, you see each of its countries side by side.
How does Juicy get ad spend per country?
Juicy syncs the ad spend that each connected ad platform reports per country: Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Microsoft Ads. It adds them up per country and subtracts the total from that country's gross profit. Ad spend a platform does not report by country is left out of the country view.
Which country is an order counted in?
An order is counted in its shipping country. If an order has no shipping address, Juicy uses its billing country. Orders with no known country are shown separately as an unknown country.
Why do some countries have ad spend but no orders?
Meta reports ad spend for every country an ad reached, so a campaign aimed at a few markets often shows small amounts in many other countries. Juicy groups countries without orders and under 1% of total ad spend as other countries, so the table stays readable while the spend is still counted.
Is profit after ad spend the same as net profit?
No. Profit after ad spend is a country's gross profit minus the ad spend reported for that country. Store-wide costs that have no country, such as recurring expenses, other income, and agency fees, are not split per country. They are included in your net profit for the whole store.
Can I set different product costs per country?
Yes. Juicy supports country-specific COGS, so a product that costs more to source or land in one market is calculated with the right cost in that country's gross profit.
