Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Juicy Profit Analytics ("Juicy", "the Service"), a Shopify application developed and operated by Daka Labs AB ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service — including through the Shopify App Store, our website at juicy.fyi, or any API or plugin integration — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Juicy is a profit analytics application for Shopify merchants. The Service provides:
- Real-time profit reporting including COGS, shipping costs, transaction fees, ad spend, and custom expenses
- Order-level margin tracking and attribution across advertising channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads)
- Multi-store analytics for merchants operating more than one Shopify store
- Integration with Shopify Sidekick to enable AI-powered profit queries
- API access for programmatic use of your store's profit data
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
3. Eligibility and Account
You must have a valid Shopify store and an active Shopify account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
Juicy offers a free tier and paid subscription plans billed through Shopify's billing system. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis. All payments are handled by Shopify and are subject to Shopify's billing terms. We do not store or process payment card information directly.
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if you believe you were charged in error.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Provide accurate information when configuring costs, COGS, and expense rules
- Not reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or underlying data models from the Service
- Not use the Service to infringe on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described therein.
You retain ownership of your store data. We process it solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties.
7. Third-Party Integrations
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Shopify, Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads, and OpenAI (via Shopify Sidekick). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective terms and privacy policies of those platforms. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
When you use the Shopify Sidekick integration, queries and responses may be processed by OpenAI's infrastructure. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge that your profit data may be included in prompts sent to OpenAI's API under their data processing terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and content, is owned by Daka Labs AB and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that profit calculations will be accurate in all circumstances. Profit reporting depends on the accuracy of the data you input and the data provided by connected platforms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Daka Labs AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the Juicy app from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain anonymized usage data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or in-app notification.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
